RAJOURI, Apr 2: An FIR has been registered against a Govt teacher for uploading his picture along with gun and poached black Kalij Pheasant (wild cock) in social media in Rajouri district.
The action was taken by the Wildlife Warden Rajouri-Poonch, Mushtaq Ahmed Chawdhary (ACF), after he saw the pictures of Dr Aslam Mughal, son of Abdul Karim, a resident of village Dhraj in Buddhal on his Facebook account today. Many people had commented and shared the pictures posted by Dr Aslam who is presently posted as teacher at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Smote in Budhal.
After watching the pictures on Facebook, the Wildlife Warden then lodged an FIR at Police Station Budhal against the teacher. The police has registered an FIR under Wildlife Protection Act,1972 and is searching for the accused as he has gone underground.
