JAMMU : A Border Security Force (BSF) post was gutted in a major fire which broke out along the line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. “A mysterious fire broke out along the LoC in Balnoi area of Poonch late last night in which a BSF post got gutted,” official sources said here today.
“No injury or casualty was reported while the reason behind the fire is being ascertained,” they added. In a separate incident, a fire also broke out in Balakote Sector of Poonch in the forest area close to the LoC. The sources said 88 Battalion of BSF is posted in Balnoi area. “The jungle fire reportedly came from across the fence and engulfed the forest area in Balakote Sector,” sources informed. (agencies)
