Udhampur, Mar 6: A major fire broke out in a bitumen plant of AFCON construction company at Granai, here this morning.
Even as fire tenders were rushed to the site, it took more than three hours to control the blazes, which had engulfed a large area due to blast in a cylinder.
However, there was no loss of life in the incident.
Cause of the fire could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigations.
