SAMBA, Sept 4: A sudden fire broke out in a ‘dhaba’ near Nud on Samba-Mansar road, in which an employee got injured.
As per reports, a mysterious fire break out in the dhaba late last night and while extinguishing the fire, a worker of the dhaba got burnt and was taken to District Hospital Samba for treatment. Short circuit is being said to be the cause of the fire.
Dhaba owner Shamsher Singh said that while working in the dhaba at night, a sudden fire broke out in which all the food items kept inside the dhaba including the fridge got burnt to ashes. First, we ourselves tried to extinguish the fire but when we failed to control the fire and one of our personnel got burnt, we called the fire tenders but before the fire was controlled, everything inside the dhaba turned into ashes.
The injured worker has been identified as Surender Kumar, son of Mani Ram, resident of Kapahi Nud. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
