JAMMU, May 2: A fire broke out in the Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital due to short circuit.
As per police sources, fire broke out in ENT Operation Theatre (OT) at SMGS Hospital late last night.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and fire fighters were pressed in to douse the flames.
The fire was brought under control in around one hour but till then the furniture items were gutted. The machine kept in the OT is safe.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while report has been lodged in this regard with police post SMGS Hospital to ascertain the losses.
