DODA, Apr 2: Fire inflicted massive damage to double storey of a residential building here today.
As per sources, fire broke out in the residential house of Mohd Shareef, resident of Bajja, Tehsil Chiralla and two storeys of the fine building were gutted.
Noting the smoke coming out of the residential building of Mohd Shareef, locals responded immediately and used all the available sources to douse the blaze.
Police and personnel from Fire and Emergency Services were also informed after which fire tender reached the spot and doused the blaze but before that the fire had inflicted massive damage and all the things kept inside the house were reduced to ash and the building also suffered massive damage.
However, there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation to ascertain the reasons behind the blaze.
