DODA, Nov 22: A devastating fire fully damaged a residential house in the mountainous Marmat area here this evening.
Sources informed that the house of one Jaffer Hussain, son of late Abdul Latif Rather at village Rachoo, Roat-A was gutted in the blaze but luckily there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident but all the household items and other things kept in the house were reduced to ashes.
SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta visited the spot and supervised the rescue operation.
After noting flames coming out from the house, locals of the area along with cops rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the blaze but before it was put off, the fire has caused massive damage to the property.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation to look into the causes of fire.
