MENDHAR, Mar 19: Fire broke out in forest area adjoining Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote Sector of Poonch district.
Reports said that the devastating fire has engulfed around two kilometer areas resulting into huge loss to the forest gold and triggering some mine blasts. However, there was no report of loss of life in the fire, which appeared to have originated on other side of the LoC and was advancing towards interiors of this side.
