KISHTWAR, Oct 9: A mysterious fire engulfed a large area of Kuriya forest today.
Clouds of smoke were visible even from Kishtwar town and the fire was rapidly spreading in the area. Soon after getting the information, fire tenders were rushed to spot which were on job along with other concerned agencies when reports last came in.
As per reports, as of now flames were away from populated area but agencies fully supported by locals were keeping eye on every development. The incidents of forest fire have increased in Kishtwar. Earlier, fire incidents in forests of Padder, Chatroo and Trigam were reported.
