SRINAGAR, May 15: Fire broke out in a hotel at world famous ski resort of Gulmarg, about 55 km from here in north Kashmir district of Baramulla today, official sources said.
They said the fire broke out in hotel Poshwan at Gulmarg. However, before the fire tenders could reach there, fire engulfed second storey and attic of the hotel.
However, no tourist or staff of the hotel was injured, they said, adding that fire tenders were rushed from different parts of the district and leaping flames were brought under control after several hours. The cause of fire was being ascertained, they said.
