JAMMU, Jan 27: Fire engulfed readymade garments shop near Bee Enn Hospital, falling under the jurisdiction of Canal Road police post.
As per police sources, fire engulfed readymade garments shop near Bee Enn Hospital late tonight.
On getting information, police team from Canal Road police post rushed to the spot and fire fighters were pressed into service to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control and saved from spreading to the adjoining shops.
No casualty or injury has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Short circuit is the reason behind the fire, but exact reasons could be established after investigation completes.
A case in this regard has been registered at Canal Road police post and investigation started.
