First Mobile App of District Poonch “Maddad” launched

Poonch, Mar 23: Deputy Commissioner Poonch today launched a mobile application “Maddad” for local residents to lodge their grievances and failure in the services in connection with Jal Shakti and Power Development Department of the district.
Grievances will be reflected in the department login real-time and action taken by the department will also be visible to the complainant. Public can register in the app and after registration can log and send their complaint to any of the two departments.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch Inder Jeet, who launched the mobile app, explained that the android app is available for free on Google Play Store.
This Mobile app has been indigenously designed and developed by National Informatics Centre, District Centre Poonch. The application will be made more interactive in near future based on the feedback and reviews.
District Informatics Officer NIC Poonch, Narinder Singh briefed Deputy Commissioner Poonch about the features of the Mobile App. He also apprised that this Mobile App shall be upgraded in near future to accommodate more departments in this platform.
