JAMMU, Jan 11: First National Conclave on National Education Policy (NEP) was inaugurated by Principal Secretary J&K Education Department, Alok Kumar here.
The two day event is being organized by the Department of School Education in collaboration with Agro Industries Vikas Chamber.
The chief guest Principal Secretary School Education Department in his speech touched upon finer aspects of NEP, its implementation, impact and aims.
Prof. Rejesh Nair MIT (USA) said that NEP has opened a sky for innovation and creativity for every educationist.
Abhyanand, (Retd. DGP) and founder of Super 30, Mehboob Makhdoomi, Lateef Masoodi, Bindu Singh, Dr. Ashok Kumar Thakur and others also spoke on the occasion.
Dr. Manoj Gupta along with Dr. Touseef Ahmed launched 1st Psychometric Olympiad.
The guests of honour were Anu Behl, Special Secretary, School Education Department and Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu.
The stage was managed by Dr. Alka Sharma, Preety Sharma and Bindu Sharma.
