Jammu, Nov 11: First time since independence, a remote village in mountainous Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir got road connectivity.
Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, who is a sitting Member of the Kathua-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency posted on X, “Under PM @NarendraModi, remote #Doda villages are getting road connectivity for the first time since independence.”
“New #NHIDCL & such other projects connect hilly Marmat belt, including my native village #Kalota, where our forefathers never got to see a motor vehicle in their lifetime,” Dr Singh further posted.
Meanwhile, MLA Doda West and BJP leader, Shakti Raj Parihar while thanking Dr Singh posted on X, “The expansion and enhancement of the Dranga-Goha-Khellani road has received sanction, with the tender process initiated in record time.”
“This essential project will bring immense relief to the communities of Khellani, Marmat, Goha, and other localities. I offer my sincere thanks to PMO @DrJitendraSingh for his unshakeable support in securing project approval,” he posted.
