JAMMU, Jan 9: Jhajjar Kotli Police today foiled a bovine smuggling bid and rescued five bovine animals.
The bovines were rescued by a team of Jhajjar Kotli Police from a vehicle bearing registration number JK06-3087, during naka checking at Suketar.
In this regard, a case FIR Number 05/2023 u/s 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act, 50,52,54,56 Transportation of Animal Rule 1978 was registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and the vehicle involved in the smuggling seized.
Further investigation of the case was going on.
