UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: A team of Police Station Ramnagar foiled a bovine smuggling attempt and rescued five bovines from a vehicle.
The vehicle, bearing Registration Number JK14E-7091 was intercepted in Joffer area, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramnagar. The driver fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on the road.
Police rescued all the five bovines and seized the vehicle. In this regard, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Ramnagar. Further investigation of the case is in progress.
