Five-day Yatra to Vijeshwar Dham, Jaya Devi, Thajiwara shrine culminates

JAMMU, Aug 23: Five day long Yatra to various shrines in the Bijbehara tehsil of Anantnag district culminated yesterday with devotees visiting Vijeshwar Dham, Mata Jaya Devi, Vijaya Devi, Harish Chander Ghat Temple and Prachin Chota Amarnath shine at Thajiwara in Anatnag district.
The devotees who had come from Jammu and other parts of country during their visit to these religious places participated in spiritual activities, performed Bhajan Kirtan and held Samohik prayers for universal peace and brotherhood.
At Pracheen Chota Amarnath celebrations were held with religious fervor and gaiety. The Yatra started from Jammu on August 18 and culminated yesterday. The religious function witnessed a massive turn out of devotees and dignitaries alike who gathered to seek blessings and immerse themselves in the spiritual ambience.
Among the esteemed guests, who graced the occasion were District Development Commissioner, Syed Fakhrudin Hamid, Tehsil Bijbehara Madam Nusrat, politicians, local people and religious personalities including spiritual Gurus. Their presence added to the grandeur and significance of the event. The yatra featured a series of vibrant discourses, soul-stirring devotional songs and enlightened speeches by revered spiritual personalities.
The atmosphere was serene, with devotees from far and wide participating in the festivities with great zeal. The successful completion of Yatra to these religious places is a testament to the power of faith and community spirit.
