UDHAMPUR, Jan 5: A minor among five members of a family were injured when a Maruti car, carrying them, rolled down into a gorge at Majalta Morh, here today.
The injured where shifted to PHC Majalta where doctors referred all of them to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of critical injuries to them.
They were identified as Mohan Singh (60) of Majalta and his brother Sohan Singh (62), Kamlesh Devi (55), wife of Sohan Singh, Savitri Devi (26), wife of Anil Singh and Tanish Singh (3), son of Bhupinder Singh.
The family was on way from Majalta to Udhampur in the Maruti Car, bearing registration number JK14B-6979 when the accident took place.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, a pedestrian was hit by a speeding car near PWD office in Udhampur. The injured was identified as Jagmohan Singh, son of Jagan Nath of Udhampur, who is a Contractor by profession.
