JAMMU, Nov 14: Continuing its drive launched against gamblers in district Samba, a Police party headed by PSI Varuneshwar Singh and PSI Naseer Naik of P/S Bari-Brahmna under the supervision of Inspector Arun Jamwal, SHO P/S Bari-Brahmana conducted raid near Dogra Law College Bari-Brahmana during the intervening night of 13/14 November and nabbed five gamblers namely Neetu S/O Babu Ram R/O Palli, Bari-Brahmana, Jeet Raj S/O Thoru Ram R/O Ward No. 02, Bari-Brahmna, Billu Ram S/O Parkash Chand R/O Dhiansar, Bari-Brahmna, Subash Chander S/O Amar Nath R/O Bassi, Bari-Brahmna & Jagbir Singh S/O Thoru Ram R/O Bassi, Bari-Brahmna and recovered Rs. 2,02100/- as gambling amount (AKADI) alongwith playing cards from the spot. All were booked under 13 Gambling Act and produced before the court of law.
