Five gamblers held from Rehari

JAMMU, June 11: Acting tough against gambling, cops from Police Post Sarwal here today arrested five gamblers and recovered stake money amounting Rs. 16,500 from them.
The gamblers were playing cards at residential House Number 1339 in Green Enclave near Education Board Rehari using money thereby spreading a wrong message among the general public.
On receiving the information, a Police party from Police Post Sarwal led by PSI Anil Kumar and guided by SHO Police Station Bakshi Nagar, Sajid Mughal under the supervision of SDPO City West, Zaheer Abbas Zafri and SP City North Jammu, Shivam Sidharth swung into action and raided the gambling spot and arrested the five gamblers.
The gamblers were identified as Suresh Kumar alias Bittu, son of Dhayan Ram, resident of H. No. 545 Rajpura, Jammu; Vishal Sharma alias Shallu, son of Lt. Kuldeep Raj Sharma, resident of H. No. 1339, Green Enclave near Education Board; Akash Sharma, son of Tirath Ram Sharma, resident of Subash Nagar; Vijay Khokhar, son of Ismaial Khokhar, resident of H. No. 33 Rajpura and Sanjeev Chadda, son of Lt. Krishan Lal Chadda, resident of Hari Singh Nagar.
