RAMBAN, Nov 27: Five persons were injured when the Tata Harrier they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near Sanasar here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK21F-3300 was on its way to Sanasar from Natha Top, when the driver lost control and the vehicle plunged into gorge near Sanasar, resulting into injuries to five persons including driver.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the injured persons were shifted to CHC Batote where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
The injured were identified as Sanjay Kumar (driver), son of Bansi Lal of Kanhal Lower, Bishnah District Jammu, Amandeep, son of Ramesh Lal of Ghagwal, District Samba, Abish Verma, son of Kuldeep Raj of Ghagwal District Samba, Vikas, son of Jagdish Lal of Ghagwal District Samba and Pankaj Verma, son of Bansi Lal of Kanhal, tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 126/2021 under Sections 279 and 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Batote and investigation started.
