JAMMU, Dec 22 : Five persons were injured today in the collision of two vehicles in Bantalab Toll Plaza in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a Tavera car bearing registration number JK14B-6836 this morning collided with a truck bearing registration number JK02W-5329 at Bantalab Toll Plaza.
“In the mishap, five passengers of Tavera car namely Ishrat (23) daughter of Altaf, resident of Pattan (Kashmir), Manjoor Ahmed son of Mohd Abdul Sheikh, resident of Barmulla, Bisma (23) daughter of Mohd Amin, resident of Budgam, Abdul Rashid (40) son of Abdul Rehman of Budgam and Sahid Latif (24) son of Mohd Latif, resident of Qamarvari, were injured”, the spokesman said.
He said that all the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment while a case in this connection was registered and investigations started.
