JAMMU, July 22: At least five persons were injured in a road accident here at Ban Toll Plaza area on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway today, police said.
They said an uncontrolled bus (CHOI TA-6056) hit an SUV (JK02DC-1002) and two other unknown vehicles parked at the Ban Toll Plaza, resulting in injuries to five occupants of the vehicles.
“They were taken to Government Medical College Jammu where they are undergoing treatment,” said police.
The injured have been identified as Raj Kumar (60) son of Bihari Lal, his wife Suman (45), son Danish (23), Rudraksh (15) son of Pawan Kumar, all residents of Tallab Tillo, and Monu Gandhi (40) son of Parkash Lal Gandhi of Punjab.
Police have registered a case FIR number 303/2023 under Sections 279, and 337 of the IPC and taken up further investigations.
