UDHAMPUR, Aug 19: Five people were injured when a truck hit a Swift car near Gole Mela, this evening.
According to the reports, a Swift car bearing registration number JK14H-2046, was hit by a truck (registration number UP17T-8229 near Gole Mela, resulting into injuries to five persons travelling in the car. Locals and SHO Udhampur Raghuvir Singh rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured persons identified as Gopal (38) son of Away Ram of Subash Nagar (Udhampur) and his wife Pooja Devi and son Adayan, were referred to GMC Jammu in view of their serious condition while 11-year-old Ronika daughter of Gopal and Thakur Dass (34) son of Satpual of Rathian (Udhampur) was admitted in DH Udhampur.
