Five injured in road accidents

JAMMU, Dec 7: Five persons were injured today in separate road accidents occurred on city outskirts.
A 28-year-old male namely Nadeem Ahmed son of Mohd Bashir of Surankote (Poonch) was injured after a bike on which he was travelling, was hit by a car at Akhnoor Bypass Road, Dumi.
At Jawahar Nagar area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Satwari, a scooty hit and injured a pedestrian identified as Umar (12) son of late Sarik Ahmed, resident of Jawahar Nagar.
One person identified as Tariq Rasool (39) son of Ghulam Rasool, resident of Sunjwan (Bathindi) suffered injuries when his bike collided with another bike at Tali Morh, Janipur.
A 54-year-old pedestrian namely Gulzar Begum wife of Abdul Rashid, resident of Nowshera, got injured when a speeding motorcycle hit her near Government Psychiatric Hospital, Resham Ghar.
A mini-bus hit a motorcycle at BC Road near Sabzi Mandi and injured its rider namely Muzaffar Hussain son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Upper Thathar (Bantalab).
All the injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical treatment while concerned police had taken cognizance in all five cases.
