UDHAMPUR, Jan 8: Five passengers were injured when a minibus was hit by a dumper at Sukha Talab near Ramnagar, here today.
According to the police report, the accident took place around 3:45 when the minibus, bearing registration number JK14D-2589 and on way from Sattian towards Ramnagar, hit a dumper bearing registration number JK14K-0399 was on its way.
Due to the accident, five passengers sitting in the minibus got injured. Locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar.
The injured were identified as Geeta Devi (60) wife of Om Parkash of Nimbla Ramnagar, Badri Nath (67) son of Shiv Ram of Sunater Tehsil Ramnagar, Rita Devi (45) wife of Babu Ram of Udhampur, Chanchla Devi (61) wife of Badri Nath of Sunater Tehsil Ramnagar, Madhu Devi (30) wife of Sat Paul of Sunater Tehsil Ramnagar. Condition of all the injured was stated to be stable.
