JAMMU, Aug 1: Five persons were injured in two separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, two bike-borne youth were hit and injured by an auto at Vikram Chowk, here this morning. The injured identified as Francisi (24) son of Michael, a resident of Miran Sahib and Garo Ram (29) son of Harbans Lal of Kullian were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
Three women were also injured in a road mishap that occurred around last midnight at RS Pura. The three women who have been identified as Pooja Sharma (50) wife of late Som Raj, Reena Sharma (34) wife of Satish Kumar and Shushma Devi (40) wife of Geeta Parkash, all residents of Kotli Shah, RS Pura, were on their way back to home on foot after attending a marriage party when an unknown car hit and injured them.
All the three injured women were rushed to GMCH, Jammu for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
