Five injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, May 24: Five persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, two persons identified as Neelu (40) son of Keso Ram and Vinod (22) son of Babu, both residents of UP (at present Channi Himmat, Jammu) were injured when a cycle on which they were travelling, was hit by a rashly driven car at Channi near Jai Hind Bakery.
Another mishap occurred at Khour near Phinder, where a speeding bike got slipped. Three persons travelling on the bike were injured in the mishap. They were identified as Deedar Sandhu (22) son of Tara, Suresh Kumar (27) son of Satpal and Ajay Kumar (22) son of Raj Kumar, all residents of Phinder.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In both cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
