Five injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Oct 29: Five persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Vijay (54) son of Gyan Chand, resident of Sainik Colony and his wife, Anita (45) were injured when a two-wheeler on which they were travelling, collided with another two-wheeler at Satwari Chowk.
Two scooty-borne youth suffered injuries when an unknown vehicle hit their two-wheeler at Residency Road. The injured have been identified as Tarun (20) son of Arun and Patrik (20) son of William, both residents of Residency Road.
A minor girl identified as Sonam (9) daughter of Suresh, resident of Qasim Nagar (Narwal), got injured when a scooty hit her near her residence.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
