JAMMU : At least five people were killed in a house collapse on city outskirts of the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said a mud house collapsed late last evening in Tootan Di Khuyee area of Bajalta in outskirts in which five people, including a couple and their kids, were buried under the debris. “On receiving information, rescue operation was launched and the bodies were retrieved,” he added. The deceased were identified as Ashok Singh, 25, resident of Gatti, Kathua, Sunil Ram, 38, his wife Seema Devi, 32, their kids Takla, 18 months, Haroon, 8, all residents of Jharkhand. (AGENCIES)
