JAMMU, May 26: Five persons of two families were injured today in a clash occurred in Ghou Manasan area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, over irrigating of fields from the canal, two families of Tarochak area of Ghou Manasan clashed with each other this afternoon. He said during the clash, both the families attacked each other with spades and lathies due to which fiver persons of both the families were injured.
The injured persons who were identified as Parkash Singh (70) son of Shiv Ram, his son namely Sarwan (35), Kalu Ram (25) son of Keemat Lal, Darshana Devi (40) wife of Tarsem Lal and Kamal Choudhary (60) son of Durga Dass, were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
Pounichak police had taken cognizance of the matter.
