JAMMU, May 25: Police in Jammu District claimed today they have seized for vehicles for their involvement in illegal mining.
A police official said that a tractor trolley loaded with pebble (Bajri) without form A was seized by a team of Police Post Pounichak.
Police Station Gharota seized another trolley loaded with sand without form A, he said.
In Sidhra, he said, the Police Post concerned, seized three vehicles loaded with sand, RBM without form A and a JCB without documents.
Post seizure, the District Mining Officer (DMO) was informed about the necessary legal provisions, added the police official.
