UDHAMPUR, June 20: Due to apparent cloud burst and consequent flash floods, three foot bridges, a small flour mill and about 200 kanal land with maize crop were washed away in Latti area, here last night.
Roads at several places and water supply pipes also suffered heavy damages even as there was no report of loss of life in unprecedented flash floods, said Master Kasturi Lal Gupta, a prominent social activist and local.
Foot bridges at Pundal, Lari and Piddi and flour mill of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir were completely washed away while loss to other property was being ascertained by the administration.
