NOWSHERA, June 28: A floor mill was completely gutted in a major fire incident in Lam area of Nowshera Sub Division last night.
Reports said that due to suspected short circuit, the floor mill (Atta Chakki) of one Paul Singh was completely damaged at around 10 pm last night. A large number of locals gathered there and started rescue operation. They also informed Police Post Lam and Fire Station, Nowshera. They alleged that there was no response at all and entire goods including wheat, maize , floor etc were also turned into ashes. They expressed strong resentment against Fire Services department and also held brief protest against Police and Fire Service authorities today morning, seeking action.
