JAMMU, Aug 12: The Jammu Kashmir Medical Employess Federation held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Sushil Sudan and deliberated upon the burning issue of FMPHWs working in sub centres under 2211 head who are without salary for last 16-20 months.
The deputation also called on Director Family Wefare J&K Dr Baldev Raj Sharma and he disclosed that Finane Department has not agreed to allot the funds from State till formal instructions are received from Government of India.
The federation warned that in case funds are not released within fortnight then federation will be forced to launched agitation for which authorities will be responsible.
Those present in the meeting were Vinod Kumar Sharma, Kamaljeet Sawhney, Jarnail Choudhary, R P Singh, C L Koul and Mohd Saleem.
