FMPHWs take up issues with Minister

JAMMU, Dec 18: A deputation of  Female Multi-Purpose Health Workers (FMPHW) met the Minister for Health  and Horticulture Sham Lal  today and took up their pending issues with him.
The members of  FMPH Workers’ Association led by senior trade union leaders Sushil Sudan  and Vinod Kumar Sharma met the minister and projected the pending issues of the FMPHWs.  They demanded to absorb/ promote FMPHWs, trained LHV as Health Educator by modifying the existing recruitment rules/ SRO 20 of 20-2-1992. They also demanded creation of posts of LHVs in the PHCs in the Health and Family Welfare department  and regular disbursement of salary to the employees.  The minister assured that their genuine demands will be addressed shortly.
