LUCKNOW, Oct 16: Member Parliament (MP) Gulam Ali Khatana today told Muslims amongst ‘Pasmanda Samaj’ to get education and contribute more in the nation building.
“Education is the key to come out of the shackles of poverty and exploitation. For last 70 years, successive Governments have given only slogans for the Muslims and never initiated any measures for their upliftment,” said Khatana adding, it is for the first time that a Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put in serious efforts to address the concerns and difficulties of Pasmanda Muslim Samaj.
Khatana was addressing “Pasmanda Buddhijivi Sammelan” in which thousands of persons from Pasmanda Muslim Samaj participated and expressed their support for Narendra Modi led Government. Hailing the historic decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Government of abrogating Article 370 & 35A, Er Khatana said that earlier three families have been gobbling up all the funds sent by Central Government but now the last penny is being spent on the developmental works in Jammu and Kashmir and the UT is on the path of peace and development.
Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh (UP) Brijesh Pathak was the chief guest of the function while national general secretary BJP Minority Morcha Sabir Ali and Minister of State Danish Azad Ansari were guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Brijesh Pathak said that BSP and Samajwadi Party used Muslims as vote bank only and tried to wean them away from national mainstream but the now the Muslims have understood their game plan while Sabir Ali said that other parties have used divide and rule policies and treated ‘Pasmanda Samaj’ as Munafiq but Modi Government is making special measures so that backward and discriminated against communities reap the benefit of welfare schemes.
Danish Azad Ansari said now UP has become synonymous with peace and prosperity.
