JAMMU, Feb 23: Department of Sociology, PSPS GCW, Gandhi Nagar in collaboration with IQAC under the guidance of College Principal Prof. Minu Mahajan organized a focused group discussion (FGD) on the theme “Stress management among students: challenges and remedies.’, here today.
The formal welcome address was given by Dr. Suraj Mohani Jamwal, HoD Sociology. She highlighted the importance of stress management among students.
Prof. Minu Mahajan applauded the efforts of the department for organizing such issues of utmost importance. She stressed upon the need to manage life which would be only possible through time management.
Dr Yashpal Sharma (Convenor, IQAC) advised the students to always adopt a positive attitude in spite of any situation.
Dr. MK Mussa, Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Prof. Neetu Raina, Prof. Eisha, Dr. Pooja Charak, Prof. Paramjeet, Prof. Harmeet, Dr. Bhagwati, Dr. Ravinder and Prof. Ishfaq Ahmad Dar were present during the event.
Prof. Shelly Sabharwal presented a vote of thanks, while the proceedings of the event were conducted by Nidhi Thakur and Meliha Mushtaq.
