FoI to take up issues with Govt for redressal: Jain

JAMMU, Mar 25: Federation of Industries (FoI) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Rajesh Jain.
During the meeting, Jain assured that with the support of all constituents of FoI viz Bari Brahmana/Birpur/Digiana/Gangyal/Samba and Kathua, the relevant issues pertaining to the industrial sector especially the local entrepreneurs of Micro and Small Enterprise (MES Units) of Jammu Province will be taken up with the State Government Departments and its functionaries to solve their burning problems being faced by the Jammu industry.
He further said that for the Central package of incentives which has been partially withdrawn in steps like Central Excise Exemption in March 2008, Income Tax Exemption in March 2012, CIS and Khasra neutrality for DIPP in Jammu 2012 etc, FoI delegation with Minister for Industries Chander Prakash will meet Prime Minister and Union Finance Minister.
He also stated that their aim and objective is to focus on bring new investments in our region from outside the State as well as inside the State and making all efforts for growth, promotion and sustainability of the existing industry.
On the occasion, Annil Suri, president, Bari Brahmana Industries Association, Romesh Badyal, president, Birpur Industries Association, Vijay Aggarwal, president, Association of Industries Samba, Jatinder Aul, president, Digiana Industries Association, Ajit Bawa, president, Kathua Small Scale Industries Association and Devinder Verma, president, Industries Association, Kathua district were elected as co-chairman FoI Jammu.
