JAMMU, Oct 4: Federation of Industries Jammu (FoIJ) has demanded Extension Centre of MSME Tool Room Ludhiana at Jammu till the establishment of Technology Centre in Jammu region.
The demand was jointly projected by Director Industries & Commerce Jammu, Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma and FoIJ Chairman Lalit Mahajan during 76th Central Tool Room Governing Council meeting of MSME held at Ludhiana on Wednesday. They discussed the issue with the Chairman of the Governing Council. They claimed that industrialists in Jammu, Samba and Kathua area facing lot of problems due to non-availability of specialized services at MSME DI -Jammu.
The chairman issued on the spot directions to the CTR to the General Manager CTR to take up the matter with the Director Industries Jammu for deliberations of the stake holders to start the Tool Room facility in Jammu.
