JAMMU, Sept 22: A delegation of Federation of Industries, Jammu, under the leadership of Lalit Mahajan, Chairman FoIJ, called on Rajendra Ratnoo, Joint Secretary to Govt of India, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade at Jammu.
During the course of discussion, the issues related to industrial sector were highlighted for early resolution. These issues include; pending registration/ reimbursement claims with DPIIT, partial operation of portal for claiming interest/insurance and other fiscal incentives under Package of Incentives IDS-2017, Gross GST reimbursement to existing industries under substantial expansion under Package of Incentive 2021, issuance of procedural guidelines for the reimbursement of fiscal incentives under DPIIT notification F No- 1(1)/2020-SSS dated 19-02-2021, eligibility for availing incentives, simplification of registration process for claiming fiscal incentives by existing units and early completion of work on the Industrial Estates notified by Industries Department for handing over the land in time bound manner to the prospective investors.
Rajendra Ratnoo gave a patient hearing in respect of the issues raised by FoIJ and assured the delegation to resolve the issues on merits.
Along with Rajesh Jain, Deepak Dhawan, Jatinder Aul, Virendra Jain, Viraaj Malhotra, the other members present in the delegation included Tarun Singla (Sr Vice President, Bari Brahmana Industries Association), Gagan Jain ( General Secretary, Birpur Small Scale Industries Association), Sanjay Chopra (Sr Vice President, SSI Association Digiana) and Lavinder Singh Puri, (Treasurer, Association of Industries, Gangyal).
