Food festival begins at Fortune Inn Riviera

JAMMU, Sept 10: A food festival “Paired to Tease–Kebabs and Kofta’s” commenced today at Hotel Fortune Inn Riviera.
Showcasing the best of Kebabs and Koftas, the festival will conclude on September 20.
Traditionally, koftas are served with spiced gravy, as dry variations are considered to be kebabs. The special a la carte menu features a variety of carefully selected vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes such as Hare Moong ki Galouti, Arbi Til ki Nazakat, Subz Goolar, Nadru Kofta, Palak Kofta, Alubukhara Kofta are the vegetarian delicacies and Tandoori Jhinga, Charminar ki Seekh, Aan-e-Murgh, Aatish-e-Seekh, Mahi Kofta, Murg Pahari Kofta, Kofte ka Surkh Salan are among the non-vegetarians.
Kofta’s would be served with Naan/Parantha or steamed Rice Dal (Yellow\Black) and Yoghurt.
Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Singh Manhas, General Manager, Fortune Inn Riviera, said “Paired To Tease”–Kebabs and Koftas promotion will present food connoisseurs for the entire ten days to relish the flavours of Middle Eastern, Eastern Mediterranean, and South Asia.
He added that chefs are pleased to bring to Jammuites a very selective range of Kebabs and Kofta’s from Awadhi, Hyderbadi and Iranian Cuisines.
“This festival is unique due to use of distinctive cooking styles and homemade ground and whole spices”, he disclosed.
