DODA, Oct 1: A Jammu and Kashmir Forest employee allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Gandoh area today.
According to police officials the Forest Guard identified as Gas Raj, resident of Khaljugsar Block Changa posted in Forest Beat Nelli, range Bhallessa was found hanging with ceiling hook at rented house at Gandoh.
He said on getting information a police party reached the spot and shifted the body to nearby health centre where after conducting autopsy it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
The Gandoh police had taken cognizance of the matter.
