JAMMU, Oct 17: A forest guard was found dead late last night in Sunjuwan area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the forest guard identified as Sham Lal (50) son of Gopi Ram, resident of Jindrah, at present residing in a rented room in Sunjuwan area falling within the limits of police station Channi, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his rented room, late last night.
On getting information police reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting post mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal hers for last rites.
A case under 174 CrPC has been registered at police station Channi and investigations started.
