REASI, Nov 23: SDM Mahore today ordered suspension of a Forest Guard for filing his nomination for the position of Sarpanch of Panchayat Halqa 6-Jamsalan-A, by concealing the fact that he is a Government employee.
The said Forest Guard, namely Mohd Ismail, son of Mohd Abdullah did not provide any document stating that he has resigned or submitted his resignation at the time of filing his nomination, last date of which was November 16, 2018. Neither did he do so at the time of scrutiny on November 17 or withdrawal on November 19 of the nomination.
After ascertaining that the said employee has committed electoral fraud by hiding his Government employment, the SDM Mahore Yasin Choudhary ordered suspension of the Forest Guard for an indefinite period until final disciplinary action is taken against him. Salary of the said employee has also been ordered to be stopped.
