NOWSHERA, Feb 14: A special team constituted by Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera, Neelima Sharma conducted surprise raid at Rah Salyote and seized an illegal saw mill operating during last night.
DFO Nowshera constituted a special team in Sunderbani Forest Range and directed to raid the suspicious places where illegal forest activities are observed. The team headed by Ved Paraksh, Block Forest officer Dharamsal/Devak and Rangeel Singh Block Forest Officer Sunderbani, while operating under the supervision of Rakesh Verma Range Officer Sunderbani, found illegal saw mill functional at Rah Salyote.
Range Officer Sunderbani booked a case in this connection. The whole operation was conducted under the direct supervision of Vivek Verma, Conservator of Forests West Circle Jammu.
