SRINAGAR, Sept 12: BJP received a major setback today after former BJP MLA Kamal Arora along with prominent leader Rinku Arora and supporters joined NC during a function organised here under the leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah, NC president.
The event was also attended by NC leaders Naresh Bittu, district president Jammu Rural B; block president Arnia, Ashwani Choudhary and Amit Choudhary, district youth president Jammu Rural B.
Senior NC leaders welcomed Kamal Arora and his supporters into the Party fold.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Farooq Abdullah emphasized the growing trust and confidence that people from various political backgrounds are placing on NC.
Kamal Arora talked about his disillusionment with BJP’s policies and expressed confidence in the leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and the vision of NC.
He said that NC has always been the true voice of the people of J&K.
“Under Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s leadership, I am confident that we will bring real change and development in J&K,” Arora continued.
