JAMMU, July 25: Former Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir and presently the Chairperson of Assam Human Rights Commission, Dr A H Saikia bereaved as his mother Begum Akhtar Bano left for heavenly abode today.
She is survived by five sons, two daughters, their spouses and grand children, who all were by her side at the time of her death. She will be laid to rest tomorrow at 10 am in a local graveyard at Julak Bari Guwahati.
