JAMMU, Mar 4: Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta started tile work of lane as well as drain work in D/C Gandhi Nagar in Ward 20 in presence of Councillor Rahul Kumar and District president Vinay Gupta, here today.
While addressing the gathering, Kavinder Gupta said that the Central dispensation led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to overall development of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by giving equal stress on both rural as well as urban areas.
He said that moving ahead with the agenda of overall development of every nook and corner across the nation the party cadre is contributing in this direction at the grass roots level to augment the movement started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to transform the canvass of the world’s largest democracy.
He assured the people of J&K that the pace of development will continue in the Union Territory under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha.
Councillor Rahul said it is the result of synchronized efforts of the Union Govt and the UT Administration that Jammu and Kashmir is today witnessing unprecedented number of developmental projects on ground and that too being carried out at unprecedented pace.
He said that several development works are in the pipeline and will be taken up in a phased manner.
Mandal president Neeraj Puri, Ward president Satbir Singh, Mandal secretary Rachit Khosla, Vijay Verma, Rikki Gupta, Mohit Sethi and Vishal Gupta were present during the event.
