JAMMU, Sept 19: Gautam Kaul retired Director General of Indian Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), former Chairman of Vitasta Health Care Trust, founder patron of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS), and former president of All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) breathed his last yesterday at New Delhi.
His last rites were performed today at Lodhi Crematorium, New Delhi. A large number of community members and family friends and relatives attended his last rites and gave a tearful adieu to him.
Pt Gautam Kaul was a prolific writer, author and music aficionado. He left behind a legacy of service to the nation.
Various KP organisations including YAIKS, KP Sabha Jammu, AIKS New Delhi, KPC, ASKPC, PNBMT and other KP organisations have expressed their profound shock and grief over his demise and termed it a great loss to the community.
